The Game Cupboard Incident...

Tip of the day:  Toddler proof the house.

My boys are PROFESSIONALS at getting into things.  I sometimes just gaze open-mouthed at them and wonder "how did they even think to do that?"

When the boys were born we "baby proofed" but then when the boys were 1 1/2 we moved and we DID NOT toddler proof.  I am pretty sure I now regret that!  Let me show you some pictures of absolute destruction...

This is the den after they found Apples to Apples in the game cabinet...

now this is the packing peanut incident but is closely related to the other... Jeff received a package in the mail and left it sitting in our living room.... I'm sure you can guess the rest.  The scene I walked in on looked like a scene out of a movie where the person gets a lot of cash and dumps it on the bed and throws in up in the air.  Same scene, different object.

This situation repeats itself in our house WAY TOO FREQUENTLY!  If its not cards, or peanuts, it baking soda.  With that one I was baking and left the room for a few minutes and came back to what looked like a blizzard in Hot Wheel land.  The whole box was dumped on their Hot Wheel city.  You would think I'd learn.... :)
